Throughout this page, "LINE," "we," "us," and "our" mean LINE Cabinetry. "You" means the person or business using our website or placing an order. "Manufacturer" means the manufacturing partner that builds the product you purchase. LINE works with a select group of manufacturing partners and offers their cabinetry under the LINE brand. The identity of the manufacturer of your specific product is available to you on request.

1. Terms & Conditions (General)

Agreement to these terms. By using this website or placing an order with LINE, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and all policies on this page. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or place an order.

Who we are. LINE Cabinetry dba of LINE Home, LLC is a Delaware limited liability company that designs and sells custom cabinetry online under the LINE brand, with delivery available nationwide. Our cabinetry is built to order by our vetted manufacturing partners. The identity of the manufacturer of any product is available on request.

Intellectual property. All content on this website — including our name, logo, designs, renderings, photographs, text, and layouts — belongs to LINE or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission. Product images and design concepts we prepare for you remain our property unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Accuracy of information. We work hard to keep product details, pricing, and lead times accurate, but we do not guarantee that everything on the site is complete, current, or error‑free. Wood is a natural material: grain, color, and finish will vary from samples, renderings, and screen images, and this natural variation is not a defect. Pricing and availability can change at any time before an order is confirmed.

Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent allowed by law, LINE is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost time, lost profits, installation or contractor costs, or delay‑related expenses — arising from your use of the site or your purchase. Except where a longer or different limit is required by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to LINE for the product giving rise to the claim.Nothing in these terms limits any right you cannot legally waive.

Dispute resolution. We would rather solve problems directly, so please contact us first at support@linecabinetry.com and give us a chance to make it right. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you agree that any dispute arising out of these terms or your purchase will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, and that you and LINE waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict‑of‑laws rules.

Changes to these terms. We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on our website at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

2. Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern how you may use the LINE website.

Acceptable use. You may use our site to browse products, request design consultations, order samples, and place orders. You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with others' use of it.

Prohibited activities. You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;

  • Copy, scrape, harvest, or reproduce our content, images, or designs without permission;

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, or data;

  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code;

  • Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the site or its infrastructure;

  • Impersonate LINE, our staff, or any other person, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;

  • Use the site or our content to build or train a competing product or service.

Accounts. If we offer accounts, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please tell us right away if you believe your account has been used without your permission. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.

Third‑party links. Our site may link to third‑party websites or tools (such as financing providers). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products, or privacy practices.

Suspension. We may limit, suspend, or terminate your access to the site at any time if you violate these terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to LINE or others.

3. Terms of Sale

This section governs the purchase of custom cabinetry and related products from LINE. Because our cabinetry is custom and made to order, please read this section carefully — most orders cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded once they are confirmed.

Everything is custom and made to order. Our cabinetry is built to your specifications by our manufacturing partner after your order is confirmed. Nothing is pulled from stock. This is why the timelines and no‑cancellation rules below matter.

The order process. A typical project moves through these stages:

  1. Design consultation and design deposit. To begin design work, retail (non‑trade) customers pay a non‑refundable design deposit of $2,000. This deposit is credited toward your final order total if you proceed to purchase. Verified trade professionals are not charged the design deposit. The design deposit pays for the design work itself and is earned when that work begins; it is not refundable, even if you decide not to move forward.

  2. Proposal and approval. We prepare your design, specifications, and a written quote. Prices are valid for the period stated on the quote and may change afterward. You review and approve the final design, dimensions, finishes, and pricing in writing. You are responsible for confirming that all measurements, specifications, finishes, and quantities are correct before approving. Custom products are built to the approved specifications.

  3. Full payment before we place the order. Once your design is approved and you are ready to proceed, the full order balance is due up front (with your $2,000 design deposit credited against it). We do not place your order with the manufacturer until payment has cleared in full.

  4. Order confirmation. After payment clears, we submit your order to the Manufacturer. When the Manufacturer confirms the order, it moves into production. This confirmation is the point of no return — see cancellations below.

  5. Production, delivery, and installation. Your cabinetry is manufactured, shipped, and delivered (see Shipping & Damage Claims). Installation is arranged by you (see Professional Installation Disclaimer).

Pricing. All prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude taxes, shipping/freight, installation, and any site‑specific costs unless we state otherwise in writing. Quotes are valid only for the period noted on the quote. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before an order is confirmed.

Payment methods. We accept ACH bank transfer and approved third‑party financing for full project orders and design fees, and credit card for sample and design fee purchases. Financing is provided by third parties on their own terms; approval and terms are between you and the financing provider.

Lead times. Custom cabinetry typically takes approximately 10–12 weeks from confirmed order to delivery. This is an estimate, not a guarantee. Lead times can be affected by design complexity, material availability, freight scheduling, weather, and other factors outside our control. We are not liable for delays caused by the manufacturer, freight carriers, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, and delays do not entitle you to cancel a confirmed order or receive a refund.

Cancellations. You may cancel before your order is confirmed by the manufacturer, subject to forfeiting the non‑refundable design deposit and paying for any design work or custom costs already incurred. Once your order has been confirmed by the manufacturer, it cannot be cancelled, changed, returned, or refunded, because every cabinet is built to order specifically for you. Please treat order approval as final.

Custom goods are non‑returnable and non‑refundable. Because our products are made to order to your specifications, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds on custom cabinetry for reasons of buyer's remorse, design changes, incorrect measurements you approved, or a change in your project. This does not affect your rights under the Warranty Policy or the Shipping & Damage Claims policy below, which cover manufacturing defects and transit damage.

Title and risk of loss. Consistent with our manufacturer's terms, title and risk of loss transfer to you upon delivery and unloading of the product at the delivery location you specify. Please see Shipping & Damage Claims for your inspection responsibilities.

4. Warranty Policy

Two parts: the manufacturer's product warranty, and LINE's claims service.

The product warranty comes from the Manufacturer. The cabinetry itself is covered by the warranty of the manufacturing partner that built it. Warranty terms — including duration, what is covered, and eligibility for residential versus commercial use — vary by manufacturer and by product. The applicable manufacturer's published warranty documentation governs your product and controls in the event of any conflict with this page. We will provide the warranty that applies to your product on request, and typically with your quote or order. Many of our products carry a limited warranty intended for residential use; commercial, trade, multi‑family, hospitality, and other non‑residential installations may be covered under different terms or excluded — so if your project is not a standard residential installation, please confirm the applicable coverage with us before you buy.

What LINE does: claims service and remedial support. LINE is your single point of contact for warranty matters. We facilitate warranty registration and claims on your behalf with the Manufacturer, help coordinate evaluation and resolution, and provide reasonable remedial support, including coordinating on‑site remedies where appropriate. LINE does not manufacture the products and does not independently guarantee the Manufacturer's performance; the product warranty itself is provided by the Manufacturer under its own terms.

Warranty registration. Warranty coverage may require timely registration, and the deadline is set by your product's manufacturer (commonly within 30 days of delivery). We will tell you the registration window that applies to your product and can submit registration on your behalf if you give us the required information accurately and on time — so please respond promptly to any registration request from us.

What is not covered (exclusions). The warranty does not cover, and LINE is not responsible for:

  • Improper installation or damage caused by installation not performed to the manufacturer's specifications (see Professional Installation Disclaimer);

  • Moisture, water, humidity, heat, or steam damage, including warping, swelling, or finish damage from exposure to these conditions;

  • Normal wear and tear, and the natural aging of wood and finishes;

  • Natural variation in wood — grain, color, texture, and finish differences, and color change or mellowing over time — which is inherent to real wood and not a defect;

  • Damage from misuse, abuse, accidents, alterations, improper cleaning products, or failure to maintain the product;

  • Damage occurring after title/risk of loss has transferred to you, except as covered under Shipping & Damage Claims;

  • Any commercial or non‑residential use not authorized in writing.

How to make a warranty claim. Contact us at support@linecabinetry.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs. We will review the claim, initiate it with the Manufacturer as needed, and coordinate the evaluation and any approved remedy. Turnaround times vary depending on the nature of the claim and any replacement or parts required.

5. Privacy Policy

What this covers. This Privacy Policy explains what information LINE collects, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect. We may collect: contact and project details you give us (name, email, phone, shipping and installation address, design preferences); order and payment information (processed by our payment and financing providers — we do not store full card numbers); and, when enabled, technical information collected automatically as you use our site (such as IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed).

How we use your information. We use your information to prepare designs and quotes, process and fulfill orders, arrange delivery, provide warranty and customer service, communicate with you, improve our site and services, and meet legal obligations.

Cookies and analytics. When enabled, our site may use cookies and similar technologies, and third‑party tools such as Google Analytics (to understand site usage) and the Meta Pixel (to measure and improve advertising). These tools may collect information about your device and browsing activity. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and where required we will present a cookie consent banner.

How we share information. We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — such as the manufacturer, freight carriers, payment processors, financing providers, and, when enabled, analytics and advertising partners — and only as needed to provide our services, or when required by law.

Data storage and security. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of certain data uses, and to withdraw consent. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and the use of sensitive personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Residents of the EU/UK (GDPR)have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and rights regarding the legal basis for processing. To exercise any right, contact us at support@linecabinetry.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.

Children. Our site and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction).

Changes. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will post the current version here with its effective date.

6. Shipping & Damage Claims

How delivery works. Custom cabinetry ships by freight/LTL (less‑than‑truckload) carrier through a third‑party delivery network. The delivery method depends on your location and the size of your order, and specific arrangements are confirmed on an order‑by‑order basis once the delivery destination is known. Freight delivery is typically curbside; it usually does not include carrying items inside, unpacking, or installation unless we agree otherwise in writing. Someone must be present to receive, inspect, and sign for the delivery.

Title and risk of loss. Title and risk of loss transfer to you upon delivery and unloading of the product at your specified delivery location.

Inspect at delivery — this is required. You (or your representative) must inspect the shipment at the time of delivery, before the driver leaves.

  • Visible damage must be noted clearly and specifically on the delivery receipt / bill of lading before you sign and before the driver departs. Take photographs of the packaging and the damage at delivery. Failing to note visible damage at delivery can limit or prevent a freight claim.

  • Concealed damage (damage not visible through the packaging at delivery) must be reported to us as soon as reasonably possible after you discover it, with documentation showing the damage was concealed and not identifiable through normal inspection of the packaging.

Report all damage to LINE within 10 business days. Regardless of type, you must notify LINE of any damage, shortage, or defect within 10 business days of delivery. We support remedies and will help resolve issues, but we need timely notice and documentation to do so, and to pursue any freight claim.

Documentation we need for a claim. To evaluate a freight or concealed‑damage claim, we generally need:

  • Photographs of the damaged product;

  • Photographs of the packaging and shipping labels;

  • The product SKU / item identification;

  • Delivery documentation, including any notations on the delivery receipt;

  • Any additional claim forms we request.

Once a claim is reviewed and approved, we coordinate replacement and any freight arrangements with the Manufacturer's customer service and logistics teams. Turnaround depends on the item and any required production.

Liability boundaries. LINE's responsibility for transit damage is limited to facilitating and coordinating the freight‑claim and remedy process described above, and to remedies approved through that process. We are not responsible for damage that is not reported within the timeframes above, for damage caused after delivery and unloading, for installation‑related damage, or for consequential costs such as contractor time, storage, or project delays.

7. Professional Installation Disclaimer

Installation is your responsibility. LINE sells and delivers cabinetry; we do not install it, and installation is not included unless expressly stated in writing. Proper installation is essential to how your cabinetry looks, performs, and holds up over time.

Use a qualified, certified installer. We strongly recommend that a licensed and experienced professional cabinet installer perform your installation, following the manufacturer's installation guidelines. Cabinetry must be installed level, plumb, properly secured to structural framing inline with the Study Act, and protected from moisture and heat sources.

DIY and installation‑error release. If you choose to install the cabinetry yourself or use a third party, you assume full responsibility for the installation and its results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LINE is not liable for any damage, defect, injury, cost, or loss arising from or related to installation, including improper measurement at install, improper fastening, damage during handling or installation, or field modifications. Damage caused by improper installation is not covered by the product warranty and may void warranty coverage on the affected items.

Field verification. Because installation happens at your site, you and your installer are responsible for verifying that dimensions, clearances, appliance specifications, plumbing, electrical, and site conditions match the approved design before and during installation. Please contact us with questions before installing — issues are far easier to resolve before cabinets are mounted.
